Returns, Cancellations, Substitutions & Liability Policy

1. Company Information

Duassnet Medical is a trading name operated under Bemaris. References to “the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Duassnet Medical, a Bemaris company.

2. Inspection on Delivery

All goods must be inspected at the time of delivery. Signing a delivery note without noting any issues constitutes acceptance of the goods as received in satisfactory condition.

3. Returns Policy (General)

Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis.
Returns are accepted only at the Company’s discretion and must be requested in writing within 7 days of delivery.
A valid Returns Authorization (RA) must be obtained before returning any item.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances, unless due to Company error:

Sterile or single-use medical instruments
Pharmaceuticals and consumables
Temperature-controlled (cold chain) items
Special-order or custom-made products
Opened, used, or tampered products
Autoclaves, refrigeration units, and large equipment

5. Condition for Returns

Approved returns must:

Be unused and in original packaging
Be in resalable condition
Include all original labels and seals intact
Be accompanied by the official Returns Note

Failure to meet these conditions will result in rejection of the return.

6. Return Costs & Restocking Fees

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless due to Company error
A restocking fee of 25%–50% may apply, especially for special-order items
Minimum handling charge: £15.00

7. Time Limits for Returns

Temperature-controlled goods: within 24 hours (per MHRA guidelines)
Other goods: within 5 days of delivery

8. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If goods are defective:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
The manufacturer may repair, replace, or investigate based on warranty terms
No temporary replacements are guaranteed during repair periods

9. Substitutions

Due to supply chain variations:

We may supply a similar or higher-quality substitute at the same price
Customers retain the right to cancel under applicable consumer laws

10. Product Information Disclaimer

Product images and specifications may vary slightly from actual items
Measurements and descriptions are approximate

11. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including:
- Loss of profit
- Business interruption
- Loss of contracts
Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods
Claims must be submitted:
- Within 7 days of delivery (for visible issues)
- Within 30 days (for non-delivery claims)

12. Returns in Transit

The Company is not responsible for loss or damage of goods during return transit. Customers are advised to use tracked and insured shipping methods.

13. Recall of Goods

In the event of a product recall:

Customers must cooperate fully
Return affected goods promptly
Provide details of onward distribution where applicable

The Company will:

Arrange collection
Issue replacement or credit where necessary

14. Refunds

Refunds are processed after inspection and approval.
