Description
Magnetic rack for DNA, RNA, protein purification, for PCR tubes (100-300 uL)
Contains strong neodymium magnets, which effectively pull magnetic beads from the solution towards a side of a tube. Specially designed so the beads are lifted from the bottom of the tube, making it very easy to pipette liquid away without worrying of accidentally uptaking beads.
Just insert your PCR tube or tube stripe filled with magnetic beads suspension into a well of the separator, and wait for less than a minute.Â
Two versions: one accommodates 150 uL PCR tubes on one side, and 250 uL tube on the other side. Second one only accommodates 250 uL tubes, with one side designed from a smaller liquid volume (50 uL or less), the other side is for a larger liquid volume.
Great for many applications, for example, purification of a PCR product or selecting DNA strands of certain size from the DNA library.
Do not heat! At about 80 degrees Celsius magnets will loose their properties!
