Our military chose and introduced this as THE combat Tourniquet in 2005 and every solider was and still is issued/carries at least 1 of and medics began carrying in their med kits since then exsanguination deaths have dropped an amazing 85%! So drastically in fact that stateside paramedics and even police officers and I myself carry these proven Tourniquets EVERYDAY.
