Description
Fractionated Coconut Oil
This product gets it name because it is actually a fraction of the coconut oil. Nearly all the long chain triglycerides are removed leaving the medium chain triglycerides or MCT oil. It is odorless and clear and leaves NO GREASY FEELINGS. This oil does not stain and easily washes out of clothing and sheets making it fantastic for massage. MCT oil does not become solid like regular coconut oil and has a very long shelf life
- FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL is one of the best possible carrier oils for blending with essential oils. It can be mixed with other more expensive carrier oils. It’s also excellent as a MASSAGE OIL and used in many popular AROMATHERAPY RECIPES.
- OTHER USES: Our Fractionated Coconut Oil is one of the most versatile oils on the market. It’s used as a moisturizer, in recipes for essential oil blends, as lip balm and used extensively in soap making applications. It’s also used as a natural deodorant, for face wash, as hair conditioner, as eye makeup remover, as shaving cream, in sunburn remedies, for massage, aromatherapy and many other household uses and benefits.

I use this coconut oil, lemongrass oil and lavender oil on my light colored Rohn mare. I apply once in the am and sheâs still not bothered by flies the next morning!

This is hands down the best oil for massage. Itâs so light and there is no scent. It absorbs into the skin nicely and doesnât leave a greasy feel. It also gives a nice glide for massage. I have used pricier oils and this one is my favorite by far. I will only use this oil from now on.

This stuff is so freaking good! We go through about a gallon a year! We use it for everything! I am an esthetician and itâs not recommended for your face, it will clog your pores! But use it every where else!

The bottle states 7.5lbs and total weight shows 7lbs 13.8oz, or 7.8625 lbs. This is a brand new out of the box and still sealed bottle, so the extra 5.8oz for the weight of just the bottle with cap seems fair. Just search âweight of drinkable coconut oilâ. From aqua-calc itâs 7.69oz per US cup, and there are 16 US cups in a gallon. 7.69oz X 16 = 123.04oz. There are 16oz in a pound so 123.04oz / 16 = 7.69lbs. MCT coconut oil is lighter or less dense than water, so it floats on water. The container is a standard gallon container designed primarily for water, and it takes 128oz for a gallon of water but only 123.04oz for a gallon of MCT coconut oil because MCT coconut oil is less dense than water. Youâre still receiving a proper gallon of MCT coconut oil. I had to clear up some misunderstanding out there.
