Cool air is suctioned in at the end of the motor, to protect power aggregate from resin dust and residues.

The product arrived on time . Variable speed and much more quiet than my original saw. It does not generate a lot of heat so far but I will see what it does as I use it more. I have used it twice so far to remove a below knee and a below elbow fiberglass casts with no issues.
