I just got a total knee replacement and the doctor recommended this exact machine. I had ice packs that wrap around my leg already..but I broke down and bought this…boy am I glad I did! Let’s face it..using ice pack wraps..you have to refreeze them frequently. Well this machine…you don’t…it stays cold for 6-8 hours! I did use hard freezer packs (fits 2 small ones) because using ice cubes (like in the directions, wouldn’t work for me..too much getting up and down changing them out) the freezer packs last MUCH longer!

The first day set up the machine..super easy..and it’s a godsend! Kept the swelling down to a minimum and the healing is going alot faster. And boy oh boy it feels soooo good after PT. Obviously everyone is different in the healing process but I can’t see any downside! Don’t hesitate…it’s great for knees,hips,shoulders etc. Very happy…
